Over the last year, SGD has broken new ground with deeper work into brand development, more complicated and integrated media design, and a continued commitment to clarity. With clients in the US and abroad we’ve built design concepts that empowered our clients to rise above the fray, concepts that stood out and were heard. Over the last year, we’ve been busy. In this space in the weeks to come, we’ll step back and highlight some case studies and collaborations that we’re particularly proud to share. From Capo Cycling to Cal Poly, from Strava to Ted King, from concept to completion, we’ve spent the last year forming creative, enduring work for great people, great causes and great companies. SGD Special Edition Cycling Kit

We will be producing a special edition cycling kit for the 10th anniversary of SGD. Attached is a PDF illustrating the design, pricing and details of the kit. We’re extending some excellent pricing to those who pre-order (see PDF). Our goal with this order is simply to create excellent quality cycling apparel that everyone will enjoy and in turn celebrate the 10 years SGD has been in business.

We’ve worked with Capo again on this one with the goal of raising the bar on comfort, fit, and fabrics. We can definitely say this is the best kit we’ve produced to date.

We’re always looking for ways to streamline our workflow AND at the same time, improve our design. We frequent Web Designer’s Wall, among other blogs on design, and often try the techniques they talk about in their articles.
One of the most significant discoveries we’ve had there is the 978 grid. It’s simple and elegant and something we’ve utilized on a half dozen sites in the past few months. Read their article for a full explanation:
